For 45 years, American Public Television (APT) has been a prime source of programming for the nation’s public television stations. APT is known for its leadership in identifying innovative, worthwhile and viewer-friendly programming. It has established a tradition of providing public television stations with program choices that strengthen and customize their schedules, such as America’s Test Kitchen From Cook’s Illustrated, Battlefield Britain, The Big Comfy Couch, Globe Trekker, Great Museums, Lidia’s Family Table, Rick Steves’ Europe, P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home, and other prominent documentaries, dramatic series, how-to programs and classic movies.

KCTS 9 strives to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve by providing meaningful programming on air, online and in the community that informs, involves and inspires. They broadcast high quality programs ranging from the Pacific Northwest to Western Canada.

Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) has a 30-year history as a hub for independent film and video makers. Producers, directors, editors and graphic designers have not only done award-winning, internationally recognized work at BAVC’s facility, but continually choose BAVC as the place to receive education on technologies that enhance their work and determine their success in the field. The growth of BAVC’s national recognition serve its current industry partners-Accom, Adobe, Avid Technologies, Apple, Autodesk, DigiDesign, Microsoft and others-in reaching an exploding market. Besides preserving and remastering archival video footage from the ’60s and ’70s, BAVC is committed to training the next generation and at the heart of BAVC’s youth programming is the belief that when given the chance to express themselves creatively through digital media, young people become engaged in their own personal growth and development.
